On May 9th, G2 will host Crave Tapes, a Berlin-based independent cassette label oriented to EBM, industrial, synthwave, and post-punk genres. Showcase will feature Desolate Discotheque, a DJ, event host, and founder of the label Crave Tapes. His style is deeply influenced by goth culture and 80s underground electronic music. Desolate Discotheque blends various genres, resulting in an extravagant and authentic sound. Joining with a live performance is XTR Human, a Berlin-based artist and founder of WIE EIN GOTT imprint. Defined by tension and control, his performances cut through with commanding vocals and a raw fusion of EBM, coldwave, and modern industrial rhythm — direct, physical, and uncompromising. Completing the lineup is Downwell, KHIDI resident and one-half of Initial Light. His sound navigates between EBM and techno with an experimental edge, and is best known for his affiliation with the Persephonic Sirens imprint.
