On October 19th, G2 presents Crave Tapes Showcase, celebrating the 5th anniversary of a Berlin-based independent cassette label. Crave Tapes focuses on EBM, Industrial, Synthwave, and Post-Punk genres
At the showcase, G2 will host a DJ and event hoster, founder of the label Crave Tapes – Desolate Discotheque. Desolate Discotheque’s style is deeply influenced by goth culture and 80s underground electronic music. He blends various genres, including EBM, Industrial, New Beat, Synthwave, Post-Punk, and Techno, resulting in an extravagant and authentic sound. Desolate Discotheque will be joined by Berlin-based artist, sound engineer, and co-founder of the label Crave Tapes – Igor Girio with his new project, Lush Lab. Drawing inspiration from the 90s underground, he delivers powerful doses of house, Italo, and uplifting grooves. Among the artists will be representatives of the local electronic music scene: DJ and live performer Nero, who is primarily oriented toward EBM and industrial sounds, and Anri, whose music incorporates elements of Dark Disco, Synthwave, EBM, and Post-Punk
